With a three-year revenue growth of 86 percent, the nationwide waste services company is building a new headquarters in Houston to keep up with rapidly expanding business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\nam proud of our growth, especially since over 10 years we steadily increased\nour new business while also tremendously increasing our value to existing\ncustomers,\u201d says Jon Farley, CEO of ZTERS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ZTERS\nis in the process of nearly doubling staff to meet demand over the next year,\nand the company has been actively involved in community initiatives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe\ncompanies on this year\u2019s Inc. 5000 have followed so many different paths to\nsuccess,\u201d says <em>Inc.<\/em> editor in chief\nJames Ledbetter. \u201cThere\u2019s no single course you can follow or investment you can\ntake that will guarantee this kind of spectacular growth. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2015. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent\u2014not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies\u2014as of December 31, 2018. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2015 is $100,000; the minimum for 2018 is $2 million.
