Job Summary

Sales Support is responsible for providing administrative and internal support to enhance the duties of the Account Manager and Senior Account Manager roles. This position is expected to communicate effectively and directly with different Account Managers and Senior Account Managers to ensure they are able to provide the highest quality customer service. As a Sales Support member, you may preform a variety of tasks including handling incoming and/or outgoing calls, pricing, data entry, billing, and follow-up. 

Job Requirements

  • Answer inbound customer calls
    • Maintain positive and professional interaction with client
    • Identify if client is existing versus new
    • Identify if client needs are for existing services or new services
  • Enter customer information and site information into our Customer Database
  • Provide pricing to client using guidelines provided, if applicable to call type
    • Assign client lead appropriately for further assistance from Account Manager when needed
  • Strong ability to close a lead
  • Handle the processing of customer orders
  • Perform outbound calls to vendors to obtain service availability, schedule delivery/removals, obtain

tonnage information, etc.

  • Perform outbound collections calls and/or emails
  • Provide billing support for various products with a focus on subsequent billing
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the company's available services, lines of business, and pricing structures
  • Responsible for having a complete understanding of the pricing and proposal model by product line
  • Interface with multiple Account Managers and/or Senior Account Managers
  • Use appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding customer concerns
  • Able to relate to a diverse customer base and vendor base
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
  • Ability to work 20-25 hours per week. 

Preferred experience qualifications

  • PC proficiency (ie Microsoft Office and Windows software applications)
  • Possess one or more of the following:
    • Sales and/or Call center experience;
    • Waste Industry experience

Compensation

$17-$19/Hour- Depending on Experience
