Terms of Service

Section 1: General Terms (Applicable to All Services)

  • Damage Disclaimer: Our trucks and equipment are heavy and may cause damage to driveways, yards, streets, curbs, or other property along the delivery path or placement area. ZTERS is not liable for any such damage.
  • Liability: Customers are responsible for all rented equipment while in their possession, including theft, damage, destruction, or injury. Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless ZTERS from claims for property damage or bodily injury arising out of or in connection with the rented equipment or services provided by ZTERS at the request of the customer.
  • Dry Runs: If we are unable to deliver, service, or remove for any reason such as a blocked placement site or inability to reach a contact person, a dry run fee may be charged, and rental will continue until successful.
  • Automatic Charges, Billing, & Prorations: All additional charges (for example: dry run fees, damage, etc.) will automatically be billed to the payment method provided at setup unless alternative arrangements are made. Equipment removal is not automatically scheduled. You must contact ZTERS to arrange pickup unless prescheduled at the time of ordering (event portable toilets excluded). Rental charges continue until the equipment is removed. Rental charges are non-refundable and are not prorated if the equipment is returned early. All billing disputes must be made to your account manager within 180 days of the charge.
  • Cancellation Policy: All cancellations and service requests must be directly confirmed with a ZTERS representative. Cancellations without direct confirmation or sufficient notice may result in cancellation fees or loss of refund eligibility.

Section 2: Product-Specific Terms

Roll-Off Dumpsters

We require two (2) business days' notice for cancellation. Additional charges apply for overloaded dumpsters, restricted items, or weight overages. To help reduce the risk of surface damage, placing 3/4-inch plywood under the dumpster wheels is recommended (though not guaranteed to prevent damage).

Temporary Fencing

Require five (5) business days' notice for cancellation. For Post Driven: Clearly mark underground utilities prior to installation to prevent damage and additional charges. ZTERS is not liable for damage to underground utilities or obstructions. Additional charges may apply for site-specific factors such as prevailing wage, hand carry, hillside installation, or core drilling. Removal may take up to 10 business days from the date of your request.

Portable Toilets

ZTERS bills on a recurring cycle of every 28 days/4 weeks for non-event rentals unless otherwise specified. We require two (2) business days' notice for cancellation. Optional Rental Protection Program: If selected, ZTERS will cover repair or replacement costs for accidental damage (excluding intentional damage or gross negligence). Intentional damage, such as shooting at or setting off fireworks inside the unit, and gross negligence, such as reckless misuse, tipping the unit over, or ignoring safety instructions, are not covered under the Rental Protection Program.

Storage Containers

ZTERS bills on a recurring cycle of every 28 days/4 weeks for non-event rentals unless otherwise specified. We require three (3) business days' notice for cancellation. Containers must be emptied prior to removal to avoid dry run fees. Removal may take up to 10 business days from the date of your request.

Junk Removal

We require two (2) business days' notice for cancellation. Additional charges apply if actual junk volume exceeds estimates or if prohibited items are included.

Security Services

ZTERS bills on a recurring cycle of every 28 days/4 weeks for non-event rentals unless otherwise specified. We require five (5) business days' notice for cancellation. Removal may take up to 10 business days from the date of your request. Security services serve as a deterrent and do not guarantee full protection from crime or damage. These services are not fail-safe and are not designed for critical safety applications. By agreeing, you authorize ZTERS to sign necessary End User License Agreements related to video surveillance.

Restroom Trailers

ZTERS bills on a recurring cycle of every 28 days/4 weeks for non-event rentals unless otherwise specified. We require sufficient water and electricity at your location; additional charges apply if utilities are inadequate. Power: 20–30 Amps, 110–225 Volts depending on trailer size. Water: standard 3/4" garden hose connection required.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation over 60 days prior to delivery: 25% of rental fee or $150 (whichever is greater).
  • Between 30 to 60 days prior to delivery: 50% of rental fee.
  • Less than 30 days prior to delivery: 100% of rental fee.
