Set against Fort Lauderdale’s renowned beaches, the 2024 Fort Lauderdale Air Show promises to be a spectacular celebration of military excellence and civilian expertise.
The Air Dot Show Tour is a traveling spectacle that visits six iconic travel destinations, captivating millions across cities including Atlanta, Orlando, New York, and Augusta. It’s an experience that’s both unique and unforgettable—bringing together aviation enthusiasts and thrill-seekers alike for a weekend of high-flying excitement.

What to Expect at the 2024 Fort Lauderdale Air Show
Mark your calendars for May 11-12, when the skies above Fort Lauderdale will be filled with awe-inspiring aerial displays. You may be able to catch a glimpse of some of the planes practicing on Friday, but those schedules are subject to change.
The action kicks off early, with the Drop Zone Beach opening at 9am on both Saturday and Sunday. For those seeking a premium viewing experience, the Flight Line Club beach area opens at 10am on both days. More on the different ticket packages later.
Flight performances for the Fort Lauderdale Air Show kick off around 11:45am and run until about 3:00pm (give or take 30 minutes, depending on time between flights).

Ticketing Options
There are a number of different ticket options with a variety of perks, allowing you to customize your experience based on your preferences and budget. Tickets must be purchased online before the show.
Drop Zone Beach is a private beach area where you can enjoy the show. With food and beverages for purchase along with nearby portable toilets, you’ll have everything you need. Tickets start at $37.50 for an adult.
The Sand Boxes allow you to reserve your own 10′ x 12′ private viewing area with access to food, drink, and portable restrooms. You’ll also receive a parking pass and a free shuttle to the site. This package includes admission for four people. Prices vary, but can be as low as $72.25 per person.
Flight Line Club VIP gives you a premium experience fit with catered lunch, tents out of the sun, and a bar with soft drinks, beer, and wine. This package also includes use of premium beach chairs and umbrellas. Price varies, but can be as low as $189 per person.
Other ticket options include the Pelican Grand VIP Penthouse. You can also purchase a ticket to the Flight Suit Social kick-off event, which takes place on Friday, May 10. Tickets are $250 per person and all proceeds go towards the Stephen “Cajun” Del Bagno Memorial Scholarship at Broward College.
