What is the EPA’s National Recycling Strategy?

What is the National Recycling Strategy?

According to the EPA’s website, the National Recycling Strategy is committed to “enhancing and advancing the national municipal solid waste (MSW) recycling system.” It is part one of a series dedicated to building a circular economy – a different way of managing waste – for all. The goal is to identify activities that encourage people to use “the three R’s” to reduce the impact on local landfills.

What is a circular economy?

A circular economy has a few different elements. It involves designing and producing goods that maintain their value as long as possible.
