Job Summary

Job Requirements

  • Responds to inbound calls and online requests for quotes for service
  • Performs outbound calls to vendors to schedule service
  • Negotiates pricing to meet customer's needs
  • Responsible for selling the company's products at a profitable rate and having a complete understanding of the pricing and proposal model
  • Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of the company's available services, lines of business, and pricing structures
  • Responds to increases and decreases in service, change of ownership, and other miscellaneous service changes
  • Performs outbound customer relationship calls to existing customers
  • Offers additional services as appropriate
  • Develops and maintains beneficial relationships with our vendors
  • Works independently and makes decisions while using appropriate judgment in upward communication if customer or vendor concerns arise
  • Able to relate to a diverse customer base
  • Performs outbound collections calls, as required
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Preferred experience qualifications

PC proficiency (Microsoft Office)

One or more of the following: 

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years inbound sales and/or call center experience
  • 1+ years waste industry experience

Compensation

$17.00 - $19.00/hour depending on experience starting pay.

ZTERS offers a clear path to promotion in the Account Manager position, to Senior Account Manager I that qualifies for a pay raise and Quarterly Bonus.

Account Manager - Base Pay is $17.00 - $19.00 with no expected Quarterly Bonus (can earn bonus if metrics are met, but not expected).

Senior Account Manager I - Base Pay is $19.00 with $2,000.00 expected Quarterly Bonus, for an annual base with bonus of $47,520.00.

Senior Account Manager II - Base Pay is $21.00 with $2,500.00 expected Quarterly Bonus, for an annual base with bonus of $53,680.00.

Senior Account Manager III - Base Pay is $23.00 with $3,000.00 expected Quarterly Bonus, for an annual base with bonus of $59,840.00.

Senior Account Manager IV - Base Pay is $25.00 with $3,750.00 expected Quarterly Bonus, for an annual base with bonus of $67,000.00.

Senior Account Manager V - Base Pay is $27.00 with $4,500.00 expected Quarterly Bonus, for an annual base with bonus of $74,160.00.
